Even the strongest people burn out when they’re carrying too much. The weight of daily life, relationships, and hidden struggles leaves you exhausted and second-guessing yourself.

You may notice:

Juggling it all — home, work, school, and relationships until it all blurs together
People-pleasing and perfectionism running the show
Walking on eggshells, feeling misunderstood, and carrying resentment
✔ ADHD, Autism, or Trauma challenges making everything harder
Guilt and regret that never seem to let up

You’ve probably tried therapy before and left feeling frustrated — like they just didn’t get you.

Why This Work Matters To Me

Hey there, I’m Chris, the therapist behind Prebble Counseling Services.

I have more than 21 years supporting high-achieving teens, adults, families, and professionals navigating ADHD, Autism, and Trauma and helping them find their paths to calm, clarity, and connection.

This work is personal for me, too. I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and raised three kids with ADHD — one with Autism. I know how exhausting it is, holding it all together, and I’m here to remind you it doesn’t have to stay that way.

"I GET IT!"

Answers To The Questions I Hear Most

Do you only work online?

Yes.

All sessions are online through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, so you can connect from wherever you feel most comfortable.

What state do you work in?

I’m licensed in Pennsylvania and registered to provide telehealth for clients in Florida and South Carolina.

How is your approach different from other therapists?

I offer a practical, experience-informed approach grounded in more than 21 years of clinical work and lived experience with ADHD. I focus on what actually works for your nervous system and daily life — not just “talking through problems.” Many clients tell me this is the first time therapy actually made sense.

Can you help if you have ADHD too?

Yes.

That’s actually one reason many people feel at ease here. I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult after years of burnout and frustration, which helps me spot what others miss and offer support without judgment or unrealistic expectations.

Can I do an ADHD assessment without starting therapy?

Yes.

Some people come to me just for an assessment, while others already have a diagnosis and want ongoing therapy instead. Either way, we’ll talk through your needs and decide together.

Do you only work with people who have ADHD or Autism?

Not at all.

I specialize in supporting people who’ve always felt “different,” overwhelmed, or misunderstood — with or without a formal diagnosis. Many of my clients are also navigating trauma, stress, emotional reactivity, or parenting challenges.

Why don’t you take insurance; isn’t therapy expensive?

Therapy is an investment, and I understand it’s not always easy. I don’t bill insurance so I can offer care that’s private, individualized, and focused on what you actually need — not what a company decides to cover.

Many clients still get partial reimbursement through Mentaya, a tool that makes submitting claims simple. During your consultation, I can help check your benefits and even file claims for you, so you don’t have to handle the paperwork stress.
