Ethical. Clear. Direct.

Because sometimes an hour isn't enough.

You've Been The Strong One For Too Damn Long

You're who everyone calls.

Even when you're running on caffeine and resentment.

A woman overwhelmed and distressed in a crowded public space, hands pressed to her head, capturing the exhaustion of holding it all together.

You’re tired, wired, and one small annoyance away from losing your shit.

This looks like:

• Saying “yes” instead of “hell no.”

• Perfectionism that bleeds you dry.

• Soul-sucking burnout.

• Snapping at people you love.

• Doubting yourself when you’re the most competent person in the room.

• Sitting in therapy thinking, "It's been the same shit since I was 16."

Intensives are different

Three hours.

We're not shooting the shit.

We don't spend half our session on the crisis of the week.

We go where you usually pull away.

If you start to avoid, I'll bring you back.

We don't check out when it gets uncomfortable.

We say what you almost didn't.

This isn't about insight.

You already know what's wrong.

This is about not walking out the same way you walked in.

Here's what actually changes

A woman smiling calmly in her kitchen with a coffee cup and laptop, children's artwork on the fridge behind her — reflecting the ease and groundedness that comes after doing the hard work.
  • You'll stop white-knuckling every decision and trust the ones you make.

  • You'll set the boundary and sleep that night instead of replaying the fight until 3am.

  • You'll say hell no — and finally mean it.

Not because you suddenly become mean.

Not because you finally figure yourself out.

Because you stop abandoning your needs every time it gets uncomfortable.

Chris Prebble, LPC, smiling with her grandson — a candid moment that reflects the real, human side of who she is outside the therapy room.

You need someone who's actually been in it

Hey there, I'm Chris. I've worked 21+ years in the mental health field, built my own private practice, created a national consultation offering, and I'm about to launch a fly-fishing EMDR retreat program in the mountains of Pennsylvania.

I've raised three neurodivergent kids. I got my own ADHD diagnosis late. I know what it's like to keep showing up while losing your shit behind the scenes.

You don't have to have it all together. That's not what this is about.

There's more to this story. If you want to know who you're actually meeting before you schedule, the About Page is worth a read.

✨✨✨

"Christine has allowed me to take a look at my resistance/armor around therapists. Within the first week of meeting, Christine provides a place of safety, security, accountability and most of all stability. I am looking forward to our journey together and am truly grateful for her."

Therapy Intensives

For adults who are done talking about the same shit.

You've done the talking. You know what's wrong. Weekly therapy keeps getting interrupted by the crisis of the week and nothing changes.

Three hours. No warmup. No stopping when it gets real.

Therapeutic Fly-Fishing EMDR Retreats

(Coming Summer 2026)

Some people do their best work not sitting across from someone in a chair and outside of four walls.

This is EMDR built around fly-fishing — wading into moving water, present and grounded, the rhythm of the cast keeping us focused.

For people who need space to do the hard stuff.

Launching in Clinton County, PA and surrounding counties.

Ethical Badass™ Workshop

For professionals who know neutral isn't always the most ethical.

You were trained to be "a blank slate." Objective. Professionally distant. But sometimes the most ethical thing you can do is say the uncomfortable thing directly.

This is an introduction to saying the thing you've been talking yourself out of — without blowing up the room.

Individual Online Therapy

Pennsylvania, Florida & South Carolina

Sometimes the work happens week by week.

Ongoing, honest therapy for high-achieving adults who are burned out, stuck in the same patterns, and done pretending they're fine.

No "so how does that make you feel?"

Just real work, at a pace that works for you.

Weekly therapy with me is honest work.

Intensives are what happens when we stop managing the week and get straight to what's underneath.

What It's Like to Work With Me

Clients tell me this is the first time therapy has actually made sense.

Not because I have all the answers.

Because they finally feel heard — without someone over-analyzing or minimizing.

You don't need to overexplain yourself.

You'll get pushback when needed.

Change actually happens.

Questions I Hear Most

Do you only work online?

Yes.

Yes. All sessions are held online through a secure platform. No commute. No waiting room. No pressure to have it together before you walk in.

What states do you work in?

I'm licensed in Pennsylvania and registered to provide telehealth in Florida and South Carolina.

For intensives, you just need to be physically located in one of those three states when we meet — which means travel is absolutely an option

What makes your therapy approach different?

I show up as myself so you can too. No clinical distance. No careful neutrality. Just honest, direct work with someone who's actually in your corner.

What treatment approaches do you use?

Depending on what you need and what we're working on, I draw from EMDR, Brainspotting, the Unified Protocol, Parts Work, and EFIT.

I don't pick a method and apply it to everyone. I use what actually fits the person in front of me.

What does an intensive actually look like?

We start with some grounding to settle in, then we go straight to the targets we identified during intake.

No warmup small talk. No crisis-of-the-week detours. Three hours of focused work on the thing you've been carrying.

Can I do an intensive if I don't live in PA, FL, or SC?

Yes.

You just need to be physically in one of those states when we meet.

Some people travel specifically for intensives — it removes the demands waiting for them at home after heavy emotional work.

Think of it as a retreat for one.

How much does it cost?

Intensives start at $1,800. Individual therapy and consultation rates are listed on each service page.

I don't bill insurance directly — Mentaya is available to support out-of-network reimbursement.

Do I need a diagnosis to start?

Not at all.

If you're burned out, overwhelmed, and tired of holding it all together — that's enough.

What if therapy hasn't worked for me before?

That's more common than you think. Most people who find me have already tried therapy.

The difference usually isn't the person — it's finding someone who actually hears what you're saying without over-analyzing it, minimizing it, or handing you a worksheet and calling it progress.

You've been holding it together long enough
