You’re trying so hard and it still feels like it’s never enough

You’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, and did everything “right”. Some days it works; most days, it doesn’t. You love your child or family member deeply, but you’re exhausted.

You feel like the emotional glue holding everyone together while quietly falling apart yourself.

You might notice:

😔 Guilt, even when you’re doing your best
🤬 Resentment creeping in because there’s no space for you
💔 Their behavior sometimes triggers your own old wounds
🥹 A mix of love, anger, and grief that no one else understands

😰 Shame and worry that you’re the problem

You don’t have to carry this alone. Therapy helps you care for yourself without abandoning the people you love.

How Therapy Helps You as a Parent or Caregiver

🌱 Feel steadier and less reactive, even on hard days
🧭 Set and keep boundaries without guilt
💬 Communicate clearly and de-escalate conflict at home
💜 Understand your triggers so you can respond instead of react
☺️ Reclaim time, energy, and identity outside the caregiver role

✔ You prefer the privacy and convenience of secure online sessions

Who Might Want To Consider A Different Therapist

✘ You’re seeking therapy for your child or loved one rather than yourself
✘ You want family therapy right now (I can point you to great options)
✘ You need emergency, crisis, or medication management services

✘ You prefer to meet in-person, in an office setting

✘ You live outside PA, FL, or SC

Questions You Might Be Asking

Is this therapy for my child or loved one?

No.

This therapy centers you. We work on your regulation, triggers, boundaries, grief, and self-trust so you can feel more grounded in your life.

What if my loved one refuses therapy?

You can still get support. We’ll focus on your nervous system and your reactions. You don’t have to wait for someone else to be ready before you start working on you.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

No.

Sessions are secure online only. Most caregivers prefer meeting from home, as long as they have the proper space for privacy.

Where are you licensed to see clients?

I work with adults and teens who are physically located in PA, FL, or SC at the time of session.

What happens in the first session (intake)?

We map what’s happening at home, how it’s affecting you, your medical and mental health history, and your goals. You’ll leave with a starting plan and the next step.

Will you just tell me what to do?

No scripts-for-life. We’ll co-create tools that fit your values and capacity, then tweak and adjust based on what actually works.

How quickly will I notice changes?

Everyone’s pace is different. Many clients notice small shifts within a few sessions as we focus on regulation, boundaries, and sustainable routines. Consistent practice between sessions helps. I’ll support you, but I can’t do the work for you.
